Confirm your eligibility
Select Child (Grades K-12) if you"re in elementary, middle or high school, and you have a parent who serves in or is a Federal civilian employee of the Coast Guard.
Select Child (College/Adult) if you are an adult and/or in college and you have a parent who serves in or is a Federal civilian employee of the Coast Guard.
Select Spouse if your husband or wife serves in or is a Federal civilian employee of the Coast Guard.
Select Service Member or Civilian Employee ?if you are a Coast Guard service member (Active Duty, Full-Time Reserve, Part-Time Reserve, or USCGA Cadet) or are employed by the Coast Guard in a civilian capacity. Federal Coast Guard civilian employees, including those under the wage grade (WG) and General Service (GS) systems, as well as Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees, are eligible.
Select Prep Academy Cadet if you are currently attending a Coast Guard preparatory academy.
Note: If the Coast Guard service member in your immediate family is retired/separated from serving in the Coast Guard, you are not eligible to use this program.

Select Civilian if you, your spouse, or your parent is employed by the Coast Guard in a Federal civilian capacity, including those under the wage grade (WG) and General Service (GS) systems, as well as Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees.
Select Reservist (Active/Full-Time)if the service member in your family is in the Coast Guard Reserve, but is currently deployed or serving full-time.
Select Reservist (Part-Time/Inactive) if the service member in your family is in the Coast Guard Reserve, but serves only some of the time.
Select Cadet if you are attending a Coast Guard preparatory academy.
Select Service Academy Cadet if you are a current student at a DoD Service Academy (USMA, USNA, or USAFA).
NOTE: If the Coast Guard service member in your immediate family is retired/separated from serving in the Coast Guard, you are not eligible to use this program.

Eligibility and Funding
Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families is funded by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) MWR General Library Program and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA). Those who fund the program determine eligibility for its use. Eligibility can change, and program availability is dependent upon available funding and is not guaranteed.
Who Is Not Eligible?
Military retirees and other Federal personnel who are separated from service and no longer employed by the DoD or Coast Guard, and their family members, are not currently funded and eligible to use Tutor.com/military. Student Veterans and other using the Post-9/11 GI Bill can find Tutorial Assistance information on the Veterans Affairs website.
